Working Student for Data Management/ Curating Medical Datasets
AIRAmed is looking for a new working student (m/f/d) to join their team.
About AIRAmed:
AIRAmed works at the interface between medical research and applied technological innovation. They develop medical software solutions to bring innovative research results to patients in a timely manner and to significantly improve the lives of patients and their families.
Alzheimer's disease and other dementias are considered the second most feared diseases after cancer. With AIRAmed's AI software, we enable early detection of these diseases. The earlier neurodegenerative diseases are detected, the greater the chance of successful therapy.
To support their work, they need well-organized and clean datasets, particularly medical MR image data. This data is essential for training neural networks and improving the accuracy of their diagnostic tools.
Your tasks:

Download relevant datasets

Clean and curate these datasets and their metadata
-
Structure data following our established processes
-
Analyze datasets and outliers
-
Report and document statistics
-
Upload curated datasets to the internal data management solution
Your profile:
-
You are enrolled and studying in a computer science related field
-
You have a high standard of quality in your work
-
You are confident with programming in Python and using Git
-
You learn new technical tools quickly
-
You enjoy organizing and structuring data
-
You can work on-site in Tübingen
-
Previous experience working with (image) datasets is advantageous but not necessary
