As Cyber Valley GmbH, we are seeking a Scientific Community Manager to join our vibrant team for the next two years (Permanent contract optional).
YOUR MISSION
You will work closely and collaboratively with students, PHD candidates, and researchers. The scientific community is the backbone of Cyber Valley. Cyber Valley Innovation Campus includes the University of Stuttgart, University of Tübingen, Max Planck Society, Fraunhofer Society, ELLIS Institute Tübingen, and Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. Your goal is to help connect the community and host platforms for scientific exchange.
In detail:
- You will be the first point of contact for the scientific community.

You will co-develop, coordinate, and co-deliver scientific community engagement.
- Matchmaking (internal and external) for scientific collaborations.
- Regular exchange and community management to keep track of their needs.
- Co-organizes events/formats for the scientific community.
- You will facilitate the flow of information, among the scientific community, through various formats including mailings, weekly meetings, including the choice and implementation of respective digital tools.
- You will contribute to Cyber Valley's own communication channels and beyond.

YOUR PROFILE
- You have completed a Bachelors or Masters in natural sciences, engineering, and/or related fields.
- Professional experience in scientific and administrative project management is a plus but not mandatory.
- You are highly structured and people oriented.
- Your working style is reliable, approachable, and collaborative.
- Very good command of both English and German (at least C1 level) will help you succeed in this role, as well as the willingness and capability to learn about the research topics.
- You have a high degree of resilience, flexibility, and enthusiasm for excellence in intelligent systems.
- Knowledge of standard software package (MS Office) is required.

Contract and salaries are based on qualifications and previous professional experience according to public guidelines (Collective Agreement for the Public Service of the Länder; TV-L).
