Der AI Incubator
Der AI Incubator ermutigt Wissenschaftler:innen, Technologen und Wirtschaftstalente, ihr eigenes Unternehmen zu gründen und Teil der nächsten Generation von Start-ups zu werden, die künstliche Intelligenz (kurz: KI oder englisch: AI) nutzen.
Das sechswöchige AI Incubator Programm bringt Forschende und Studierende dazu, ihre KI- und Robotikforschung in Produkte und Anwendungen umzusetzen. Mit Workshops zu Themen wie Prototyping, Product-Market-Fit, Geschäftsstrategien, Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten und KI-spezifischen Inhalten stattet Cyber Valley die Teilnehmenden mit allem notwendigen Wissen aus. Außerdem verbindet der AI Incubator die Teilnehmenden mit einem Netzwerk aus Expert:innen, Mentor:innen, Investor:innen und anderen Gründer:innen, um sie auf ihrem Weg in die Start-up-Welt zu begleiten. Am Ende des Programms wird jedes Team seine Idee vor einer Jury aus Branchenexpert:innen präsentieren.
Der AI Incubator ist auf Englisch und alle weiteren Informationen daher in englischer Sprache.

We’ll inform you if your application was successful and you’ll be part of our incubator until 2 June 2023.
Timeline & Logistics
Six weeks, full day sessions (8:30–18:00 CEST) once per week, hosted at different locations around Tübingen, Stuttgart and Zurich.
We will organize shuttle services and try to help you with logistics as best as possible. In case transport or logistics is the only blocker for you to not apply – please reach out and we will find a solution together.

We've curated an exciting program of AI start-up founders, AI start-up experts and entrepreneurship mentors and we're looking forward to learning, prototyping and thinking with all of them!
Start-up Coaches
Our three dedicated start-up coaches Olga, Ralf and Michael will be onsite during the workshop days. As experienced founders themselves they will be available for all your questions and guide you during and in between sessions.

Previous knowledge or experience in the business and start-up world is not needed – nor do you need to have a specific idea or a team.
If you do have an idea that you want to grow into a startup: perfect, then this incubator is for you as well as we’ll form teams and learn from experienced startup coaches.
Students of IMPRS-IS will get 3 credit points if they successfully attend the incubator.
We’ll organize a shuttle service for all participants to attend the full day workshops.

We’re looking for enthusiastic scientists, technologists and business talent who are curious to explore entrepreneurship in the area of AI.
- Previous knowledge or experience in the business and startup world is not needed – nor do you need to have a specific idea or a team.
- If you do have an idea that you want to grow into a startup – perfect, then this incubator is for you as well as we’ll form teams and learn from experienced startup coaches.
- Even if you don’t research in the field of AI, robotics or machine learning but are keen to grow your knowledge about business in this field, we’re happy to have you apply to our incubator.
Our incubator invites all scientists, researchers, technologists and business talent, PhD and postdoc students from the Cyber Valley ecosystem who are interested to explore entrepreneurial topics around AI.
We’re especially inviting PhD students from the International Max Planck Research School for Intelligent Systems (IMPRS-IS), who will get 3 credit point for successfully attending the incubator.
Students from the CLS program and other universities are invited to apply as well.
Even if you don’t research in the field of AI, robotics or machine learning but are keen to grow your knowledge about business in this field, we’re happy to have you apply to our incubator.
